Condolence: I was sorry to hear of Roz's death. My condolences to her family. The world has lost a wonderful volunteer. It's so appropriate that a scholarship fund be established in her name.
While she served on the NEA-Retired Executive Council, she worked very hard on our Jack Kinnaman Memorial Scholarship Committee. She not only raised money, she often lead the committee to select the student winners.

Condolence: I met Roz when I worked for the Maryland State Teachers Association in the 1980’s. We worked together on MSTA’s (now MSEA’s) membership committee and the organization grew tremendously while she was a leader. I remember her as a person with a ready smile and someone who always asked me about my kids. She was always friendly to others and cared passionately about public education, students, teachers, and school employees. She devoted the last half of her life to advocating for public education under the banner of MSEA and the National Education Association.
I remember when she met John, the love of her life, and the two of them were inseparable at Association events. I was so happy for the two of them.
I was saddened to hear of her passing. My condolences to her family and friends and to the thousands of NEA Retired members with whom she interacted and advocated on their behalf. She will be missed.

Condolence: My sincere condolences on your loss. I knew Rosalind from her work in Prince George's County where I was an educator from 1959 - 1989. I also knew her through The George Washington University Chapter of Phi Delta Kappa where she served in many offices including as President. I was the Executive Director of the Chapter for 29 years. I last saw Rosalind when I volunteered with her at the National Book Festival at the Washington Convention Center in the summer of 2016. A wonderful educator and a marvelous lady. God Bless!!

Condolence: I'd like to offer my condolences to the family. The account of the resurrection of Lazarus helps us to see that just as Jesus wept with his friends he desires to restore life to our loved ones who have fallen asleep in death. James 5:28 -29.
