Obituary for Glenn G. Corbin Sr.

Glenn George Corbin, Sr., “Pop” 88, a 46-year resident of Crownsville, and previously of Catonsville Manor, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016 from congestive heart failure, at his son’s home in Bowie.

Glenn was born on August 28, 1926 in Baltimore, MD to the late Harry and Edith Corbin. He was retired from the Glenn Corbin & Son Heating and Air Conditioning Company that he owned and operated with his son, Glenn Jr., who owned the business after 1986.

He is survived by his children, Glenn G. Corbin, Jr. and his wife Gail, of Bowie, MD and his daughter Glenda Mayo and her husband Walter of Crownsville, grandchildren; Glenn Corbin, III and Kimberly Anne and William Russell Corbin, and Alexander, Ashlynn and Addison Mayo.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Pop’s life on October 2, 2016 from 3pm – 5pm at his son’s home in Bowie. A memorial service will begin at 4pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made Wounded Warrior Project.
