Sara H. Carter of Davidsonville, MD passed away on February 17, 2021. Sara was born on December 21, 1932 in Dundalk, MD to the late James and Sarah Hess. She worked in the telecommunication industry for Western Electric and AT&T. Sara was a 47 year member of Davidsonville United Methodist Church where she enjoyed meeting, sharing and doing for others. Sara and her husband, the late George Carter, spent time traveling throughout the United States as both tent campers and RVers.

In addition to her parents and husband, Sara was preceded in death by her brother, John and a step-sister, Jean. She is survived by her daughter, Georgia Katheryn Carter of Odenton, MD; a brother, Jim Hess of Baltimore, MD and many friends. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Sara's life on Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 11am until her service begins at 12pm at the Kalas Funeral Home and Crematory, 2973
