Willard Dean Toney, 83, a resident of Davidsonville, MD for 50 years and previously of North Carolina, died on February 19, 2021 at her home after battling dementia, congestive heart failure and COPD for three years. Born on February 8, 1938 in North Carolina to the late Joseph Cleatus and Minnie Geanette Davis Walker, Dean was an Anne Arundel County school bus driver. Dean was a former member of the Davidsonville Dance Club and helped organize the Davidsonville Bluegrass Festival. She enjoyed dancing, hallmark/ romance movies, chocolate shakes, chicken n dumplings, Frank Sinatra and thrift store bargains. Dean was preceded in death by her husband of more than 60 years, Charles Andrew Toney and her son, Charles Barry Toney. She is survived by her son, Chuck Toney of Davidsonville, MD; her siblings, Wayne and JC Walker both of Casar, NC, Katherine Sansing of Shelby, NC and Edith Brackett of Polkville, NC and her grandchildren, Emily, Katlyn, Dakota and Melissa Toney.
