Obituary for Joan Marie "Tootsie" Parks (Padgett)
Joan Marie "Tootsie" Parks passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at Restore Health and Rehab in White plains, MD. She was born on October 2, 1935 in Washington, DC to the late George Bradley and Mary Ellen Maxwell Padgett. She worked as a cafeteria worker and retired from the Prince George's County Public School System as Bus Aide.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her son and daughter, David Gray and Debbie Cockrell. She is survived by her children, Robert F. "Bobby " Gray, Jr., Linda Gray and Connie Murray. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to Tootsie's Life Celebration at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 6160 Oxon Hill Road, Oxon Hill, MD 20745 on Monday, January 20, 2020 from 11 a.m. until time of service at 12 noon. INTERMENT PRIVATE AT A LATER DATE.
