Marion Joyce Claro, "Joyce", 73, a resident of Churchton, MD for 33 years, died on Monday, December 10 at her home. Born on July 21, 1944, in Fall River, MA to the late John and Irene Medeiros, Joyce earned a master's degree in law from George Washington University in Washington, DC. After retiring from the U.S. Department of Labor, she managed the law firm of Kohn, Kohn, and Colapinto and was the President of Claro Communications Group, Inc. She was preceded in death by three children, Kevin Scott, Debra Lynn, and Karen Leigh Claro. Joyce is survived by her son, Kenneth Claro of Churchton, MD; her brothers, Donald Medeiros of Fall River, MA and John Medeiros of Syracuse, NY; her grandsons, Kenneth Claro, and Michael Souza and three great-grandchildren. Friends are invited to celebrate Joyce's life at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Friday from 6 to 8 PM where her funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 15 at 10 AM. Interment Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton, MD.
