Joshua Blake Taylor, Sr., 32, a resident of Churchton, MD died at his home on Saturday, December 8, 2018. Born on January 14, 1986, in Olathe, KS to James L. and Kelly L. Taylor, Joshua graduated from Southern Senior High School in Harwood, MD and was a cook at Skipper's Pier in Deale, MD. He loved his family, friends, golf, football, basketball, and being a Captain. Joshua enjoyed spending time with his family at the beach, and visiting his aunt and uncle Dena and Jay and his cousins, Jordan and Matt, in Seattle. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Heather R. Taylor; his children, Joshua Blake Taylor, Jr. of Churchton, MD, Mikaih Cravens of Lexington, KY, Macie (Scottie) Catterton of Shady Side, MD and Kennedy Cravens of Charleston, SC; his sister, Ashley (John) Comer of Churchton, MD; his grandparents, James D. Taylor of Bakersfield, CA, Richard Pyle of Spokane, WA and Dottie and Dudley Moorhous of Apex, NC and his grandchildren, Baileigh, Ryleigh and Everleigh Catterton all of Shady Side, MD. Joshua was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Sandra Ross Howes, and Connie Pyle. Friends are invited to celebrate Joshua's life at the Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Thursday, December 13 from 12 noon until his funeral service begins at 1 PM.
