Obituary for Steven B. Wilson

Steven B. Wilson
Steven Wilson, 33, passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 while earning a living for his family. Born on May 30, 1985 in Annapolis, MD to Robert and Lisa Wilson, Steve graduated from South River High School. While in high school, Steve started working at Popeye’s in Edgewater when he was 15 and later worked at Ledo’s Pizza. He always had at least one job. After graduating from high school, he began working full time for Admiral Tire, which his father founded in 1979. While working full time, Steve earned an associate’s degree from AACC and was working towards earning a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, University College. In September of 2017 Steve began working for Ryan Homes as a Sales and Marketing Representative tasked with selling new homes. In addition to his parents, he is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Jessica Wilson whom he met when he was just 23. They have been together ever since. Steve first brought Jessica home to meet his family on the day of his sister, Theresa’s, graduation party. The way he spoke about her, with such love and affection, everyone was sure they would be together forever. He is also survived by his two beautiful daughters, Valerie and Caroline Wilson; his brother, Robert Wilson, Jr.; his sister, Theresa Sampson and her husband, Leland and their son, Gideon; his parents-in-law, Kevin and Lynn Duckworth; his brother-in-law, Todd Duckworth and his fiancé, Emma Chini; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and associates. Friends are invited to celebrate Steve’s life at the Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Tuesday, December 11 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 620 Bestgate Rd., Annapolis, MD on Wednesday, December 12 at 9 AM. Interment will follow at Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville, MD. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to his daughter’s education fund at: www.gofundme.com/steven-wilson-memorial-education-fund.
