So sorry to hear about Don’s passing. I have very fond memories dating back to when we were “kids” at Eagle Lake. Kelly and I send our sympathies to all of you. Every time I met Don, he always bragged about his children and grandchildren. He was so proud. Wishing you all peace as you deal with the sadness of his passing.

Condolence: Dear Thelma and family, we are so sorry to hear that Don has passed, but at the same time happy he is back HOME. Don was such a great man to reach out to us and share his story about MS as well as support us once he found out Dean was diagnosed. We didn’t know him at the time other to know he was Coon’s brother. He made it a point to call and come visit when he was in northern Maine. He certainly had the gift to gab. He meant a great deal to us. Thelma, you have been such a great companion and we wish you strength as you find your way in this new chapter as well as the rest of Dons family.

Condolence: When a person spends four years with another in the prime of their lives yogurt to know that person as family. Don Bouchard was a classmate of mine at Georgetown and since we lived only a few blocks apart we got to see Don and beautiful Carmetta frequently. That friendship persisted and we were asked to be Godparents for their daughter, Rita. Because Don and I were older than most of the other students we were the "older guys" and we socialized accordingly. Three of us were particularly close. One died several years ago and Don and I were the only two on the small airplane to Massachusetts. Now I have lost another close friend. Don was a great dentist, diligent, precise and a person of stature with integrity. They do not come any better. My friend is gone and his children , Donnie, Jimmy, Ria and Michelle have lost a great father. Our love to each of you. FGP

Condolence: Don - The Maine State Society will miss you. Carroll and Thelma and the rest of Don's family, please accept my condolences. We all will miss him. I remember getting on a regional carrier at DC airport to fly up to Presque Isle with my daughter and the gate agent said what is this, a Bouchard convention? It seems there were 5 Bouchards on that flight all going to the same place The other 2 were 2nd cousins I had not seen since they were young and Don who I had not seen since High School. We had a grand reunion that made the flight times go fast. This would have been about 1986.
