Obituary for Dian Banschbach

With sadness, the family of Dian Banschbach announces her passing on December 1, 2018. Dian was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. The daughter of Joseph and Elsa Straub, she was born on September 29, 1933 in Easton, Pennsylvania. She was predeceased by her parents as well as a brother, William Straub and a son, Dominick Casciano, Jr. She is survived by her husband, Lee Banschbach and her daughter, Chris Wynn and husband, Ron; daughter-in-law, Peggy Casciano; daughter, Julie and Phil Frazier and daughter, Dian Jones and husband, Michael. Also surviving are ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She will be loved and missed for her outgoing personality, quirky sense of humor, love of animals and unconditional love of family. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to either St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or your local SPCA. “If there ever comes a day when we can’t be together, keep me in your heart, I’ll stay there for ever”-Winnie-the-Pooh. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W. Central Ave., Davidsonville, MD on Friday, December 7 at 10:00 AM.
