Richard David Bond, 71, of Clinton, MD passed away on October 9, 2018. Born on May 10, 1947 in Newton, New Jersey to the late Waldo Kenneth Bond and Ruth Elsa Hilliard.
Richard is a Veteran of the United States Navy, who served for 4 years. He retired as an Accountant. He was a member of the St. John’s Evangelist Catholic Church in Clinton, MD. He was a part of the St. John’s Rosary Group, and the BLD Group. He enjoyed Church, movies, reading and spending time with his family and friends.
Richard is survived by his Wife, Heidi Bacayo-Bond. Brother, Christopher Bond. Sisters, Eileen Bond Deaver, Kathleen Bond Land, and Jacquelen Kay Bond. He is pre-deceased by his parents, Brother, Ronald Lars Bond, and Sister, Diana Bond Struble.
A Celebration of Life will at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD 20745 on Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, October 15, 2018 at 11 am at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 8908 Old Branch Ave., Clinton, MD., 20735. Interment will be private.
In lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to the American Kidney Fund, Washington D.C.
