Obituary for Elizabeth Mae "Libby" Winburn

Elizabeth Mae Winburn "Libby", 88, a resident of Edgewater, MD, died on Monday, October 8, 2018 at the Mandrin Hospice House in Harwood, MD. Born on June 7, 1930 in Bristol, VA to the late Walter and Mae Freeman, Libby retired from Giant Food after 32 years of service. In her earlier years, she enjoyed taking bus trips across the country and sightseeing. Later in life, she enjoyed relaxing, long phone conversations with friends and family, and watching TV, especially Dancing With The Stars. Libby was preceded in death by her son, Rick Hall; her siblings, Virgie Orfield, L. H. “Pete” Freeman, W. C. “Billy” Freeman and N. S. Freeman. She is survived by her grandson, Pete Hall and his wife, Stacey of Edgewater, MD; her step-daughter, Carolyn Ramberg of Virginia and all of her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Memorial service will be held at the Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Saturday, October 13 at 10 AM.
