Jeffrey Lee “Jeff” Parnell, 58, of Annapolis, MD, passed away on October 2, 2018. Born on December 8, 1959 in Baltimore City, MD to the late Robert Lee and Julia Mae Parnell, Jeff was a 1977 graduate of Annapolis High School. Always ambitious, he began working as a teenager for Buzzy’s Pizza. Later on, Jeff worked as an attendant for park America in Annapolis, a truck driver for Ecklof in Landover, MD, then as a warehouse manager for Werner Electric in Wausau, WI, and finally as a service writer for Dave’s Auto in Annapolis. He was a member of Annapolis Baptist Church and an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Jeff enjoyed fishing, duck pin bowling, playing cards and board games and being a DJ at parties and events. His greatest joy though came from spending time with his family and friends.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Margaret “Margie” Parnell; two sons, Dylan Parnell of Wausau, WI and William Grierson, Jr. of Annapolis, MD; two brothers, Bruce (Sandra) Parnell of Los Angeles, CA and Joseph Parnell of Pasadena, MD and one sister, Wendy Parnell (Melvin) Creasey also of Pasadena, MD.
Friends are invited to celebrate Jeff’s life with his family from 6 to 9 p.m. on Monday, October 8 at the Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD where Jeff’s funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 9 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery in Annapolis.
