Francisco "Frank" Curiel, Jr., 75, a resident of Edgewater, MD for 35 years died on Monday, October 1 at his home after a brief illness. Born on April 4, 1943 in Corpus Christi, TX to the late Maria J. and Francisco Curiel, Sr., Frank attended Purdue University. He worked as an instrument technician at Anne Arundel Medical Center for 35 years and in his spare time enjoyed football, baseball, westerns and spending time with his family. Frank is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary Louise Curiel; his children, James Leonard (Christine) Hall and Elena Marie Curiel, both of Edgewater, MD; his sister, Maria Elena Sandoval; his grandchildren, Robert Cossaboom, Jr., Michael and Courtney Hall, Christina Smith, Ashleigh Gregory and Amelia Boettcher and his great-grandson, Jameson Smith. He was preceded in death by his siblings, John, Delmira and Juanita Curiel and Minerva Katz. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 5 at 1 PM at 1600 Hilltop Rd., Edgewater, MD 21037.
